The previous softwood deck was totally rotten, the ground floods easily and stays damp most of the winter.<\/p>\n
We excavated quite a lot of ground to allow the higher deck to be above any ground water. We constructed this in UC4 timbers with composite posts.<\/p>\n
The lower deck they wanted to be at ground level, so we dug even deeper and constructed this from composite lumber knowing it will never rot or decay.<\/p>\n
